Activity Feed

The Activity Feed provides a real-time stream of all email events in your Airmailer account. Monitor individual interactions, track status changes, and quickly identify issues as they happen.

Accessing the Feed

Navigate to Activity in the sidebar, then select the Activity Feed tab.

Event List

Events appear in reverse chronological order (newest first):

Event Details

Each event shows:

  • Event type: Email received, Reply sent, etc.
  • Timestamp: When the event occurred
  • Status: Success, Pending, Failed
  • Contact: Customer email address
  • Subject: Email subject line

Event Types

Email Received

An inbound email arrived from a customer.

Status indicators:

  • Success: Email processed successfully
  • Pending: Processing in progress
  • Failed: Processing encountered error

Reply Sent

Your AI agent sent a response.

Status indicators:

  • Success: Email delivered
  • Pending: Delivery in progress
  • Failed: Delivery failed

Email Skipped

An inbound email was not processed.

Reasons:

  • Detected as spam
  • Auto-reply message
  • Duplicate email

Status Colors

Using the Feed

Real-Time Monitoring

Keep the feed open to watch:

  • New emails arriving
  • Agent responses sending
  • Any failures occurring

Issue Detection

Quickly spot:

  • Failed emails (red status)
  • Unusual patterns
  • Processing delays

Quick Investigation

Click any event to:

  • See more details
  • Navigate to conversation
  • View processing logs

Feed Filters

By Status

Filter to show only:

  • All events
  • Success only
  • Pending only
  • Failed only

By Event Type

Filter by:

  • Inbound emails
  • Outbound emails
  • All events

By Time

Focus on:

  • Last hour
  • Last 24 hours
  • Last 7 days
  • Custom range

Investigating Events

View Details

Click an event to see:

  • Full event information
  • Associated conversation
  • Processing details

View Execution Details

For processed emails:

  • See the workflow execution
  • Review step-by-step logs
  • Understand agent decisions

Link to Conversation

Jump directly to:

  • The email thread
  • Full conversation history
  • Related messages

Common Patterns

Healthy Feed

  • Mostly green (success) statuses
  • Regular event flow
  • Quick processing times

Warning Signs

  • Multiple red (failed) events
  • Long gaps between events
  • Many pending events backing up

Daily Monitoring

  • Check feed at start of day
  • Look for overnight failures
  • Verify processing is running

When Issues Arise

  • Filter to failed events
  • Review error details
  • Take corrective action

Regular Review

  • Scan for patterns
  • Note recurring issues
  • Plan improvements

Troubleshooting via Feed

High Failure Rate

  1. Filter to failed events
  2. Look for common causes
  3. Review error messages
  4. Address root cause

Processing Delays

  1. Check pending events
  2. Verify system status
  3. Contact support if prolonged

Missing Events

  1. Verify email was received
  2. Check time range filter
  3. Refresh the feed

Feed Limitations

  • Events older than retention period not shown
  • Very high volume may require filtering
  • Real-time updates require page to stay open
